Addition+, the next generation media planning and buying company, has been given the EDAA Trust Seal by ABC.
The Trust Seal recognises the high standards that Addition+ works to on every media campaign, and confirms their high level of expertise and commitment to client trust across the business.
The EDAA Trust Seal issued by ABC proves Addition+ is compliant with the European Union’s Self-Regulatory Programme for Online Behavioural Advertising (OBA). The EDAA (European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance) is an industry coalition representing advertisers, agencies and the media across Europe. Its aim is to promote best practice in the online advertising industry.
Addition+ is a media company known for developing new innovations and technology through its on-going commitment to research. This seal of approval from ABC is the culmination of years of work within Addition+ to develop ways to combat ad fraud.
Announcing that Addition+ has been given the EDAA Trust Seal, MD Jacqui Wallis said:
“This is a very important seal of approval for Addition+, because it shows that all the creativity and intelligence that we put into building brilliantly effective media campaigns is underpinned by our commitment to the highest standards and best practice in the online advertising industry. The EDAA Trust Seal is independent and highly respected, which sends a very important message to brands across the UK and Europe. If you work with Addition+ you know you are working with a media company with systems, processes and values you can trust and believe in. In today’s world, that is hugely important.”
Addition+ is based in London and has offices around the world in Spain, China, Singapore and Hong Kong. The company works across many sectors, and specialises in Travel and Financial Services. Clients include Barcelona FC, NEST, Swift, Caxtonfx, the Irish Development Agency, Basquetour, Victor and Solaire Hotels.
ABC, which was established in 1931, inspires confidence in the advertising industry across the world through its valued ‘stamp of trust’. The organisation has two roles: to bring the industry together to agree standards that define media measurement and determine best practice, and to offer independent audit and compliance services, delivering certification which verifies that data and processes meet the industry-agreed reporting standards.
Jan Pitt, Executive Director of Client Services at ABC said:
“We are delighted to issue the EDAA Trust Seal to Addition+ having provided them with a robust and independent certification service. Through this certification, Addition+ have demonstrated both their expertise and commitment to working to industry agreed standards. Independent certification helps to raise standards across the industry and will provide Addition+’ clients greater confidence in their systems and processes.”
Wallis, who brings 20 years of senior agency experience to Addition+, said:
“In the online market, trust is vital. Media companies need to put compliance and transparency at the heart of their operations – so the brands they work with can see their media partner has both the right skillset and the right set of values to build their campaigns in the right way.”
“It’s fantastically exciting that technology is opening the door to new forms of creativity, and new ways of identifying potential customers online, and Addition+ is leading the way on much of the progress being made in this space, but everything we do has to be built on trust. That has always been central to the team here at Addition+ and that’s why we are so delighted to receive the EDAA Trust Seal from ABC. With this on our mantlepiece, our clients and the brands we are now talking to can see very clearly how much they can trust Addition+ to deliver great results, applying the highest professional standards.”
